Course 2

The second course begins with instructional leadership focusing on programmatic level coaching to instructional leaders in early learning programs. It Includes strategies to use data-informed decision making to support teacher development and growth through planning and continuous quality improvement. This course will also focus on developing a trauma- informed approach to coaching.

We begin Early Care and Education Foundations content with a focus on high quality early learning environments. Coaches will get familiar with the best practices in each topic area, understand how they impact child development, and recognize and apply teaching practices.

This content will also include licensing requirements, national, and state standards and in these areas. The course focuses on coaching strategies in these areas and provides active opportunities for coaches to apply feedback that addresses the "why" behind the best practices.

Course 3

The third course continues the focus on Early Care and Education Foundations with content on supporting healthy social-emotional development, promoting positive behaviors, effective teacher-child interactions and supporting teaching practices.
